MSE Club Merch Sale x MIC Exam Review Session + Pizza

When: Thursday April 14th 3-5pm

Where: MSE Undergraduate Common Room

What: MSE Club will be selling MSE merch, and this will be the last sale of the year so act now or forever hold your peace! Materials Industry Club (MIC) will also be hosting an exam study session with FREE PIZZA at the same time so come and hang out in the common room with your fellow MSEs 🙂

MSE Club Wins Discipline Club of the Year!

Hey Everyone!

We wanted all of you to know that we are so happy to announce that the MSE Club won the EngSoc Discipline Club of the year award for the 2T1-2T2 school year!

Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us. We love putting on events for the MSE community and have had an awesome time this year.

Winter Town Hall on April 1

Hey Everyone!

Winter Town Hall is happening this week!

When: April 1st 9AM-10AM (feel free to drop in!)

Where: WB130

What: Town hall is an event where students can come and speak with faculty, and share their concerns comments and questions about all things MSE! It’s how we improve our department, so if you’ve ever found yourself thinking something like “this course would be way better if..” or “I wish they did X for student support” this is a great event to come and share feedback! If you cannot attend, or wish to contribute anonymously, please post your questions to this jamboard.

Discipline club elections are open! If you’d like to get involved with MSE Club for the 2T2-2T3 school year, check out the following link for details: https://skule.ca/elections.

Descriptions of the job responsibilities of each club position can be found in this document.

You can also run for other EngSoc positions! The period to run closes on Friday at 5pm so make sure you fill out the necessary form(s) so that you are an official candidate.

Also don’t forget to the attend the All Candidates Meeting on March 21st at 6pm if you do run for any position.

Remember to vote for your favourite prof/TA of the year on our impact survey. It will be open till tomorrow (March 4) at 5 pm, so make sure to vote!
